The image of the angel babies is adorable and I absolutely LOVE the following two photos of vintage children.  I don't think the first little child wanted her picture taken or something had made her very unhappy or angry from the look on her face!  Also the second old photo is SO cute with the skirt on the little boy and there is something about the wagon with the doll that is special ... so different from what our little children play with today.
My own children usually played more with the box a toy came in than the toy itself, especially my boys!  Times have certainly changed, some for the better, but lots of things I would have liked to see remain as they were, the gathering and visiting of families and friends doesn't seem to be the same as it once was and I miss those times.  Life was simpler I believe and though I am aware progress is inevitable and good for the most part, some of the old ways of life definitely are better than today in my view.

Here are three more Christmas images for you.  I hope you like them.  My favorite, as you probably already know, is the bottom card, with the angels.  There is just something about angels that I dearly love and don't have a clue if that is what they really look like, nor does anyone else.  It is nice to imagine they do ... and, who knows, they may appear exactly as we depict them in the images. 

Sometimes, when I close my eyes at night, right before I drift off to sleep I imagine a room full of angels, some of them bending over me so close I can almost feel the wings touch my skin.  Then again, is it really my imagination?  I sometimes wonder, but for whatever reason, there is no desire to open my eyes, perhaps for fear it IS imagination, though in my heart  I know for sure it is not.

I have for you today 3 of the sweetest angel images .  They are such a joy to look at, the tiny angels overlooking baby Jesus in His manger, a couple of little lovelies singing hymns and the Guardian Angel with the little boy and girl are absolutely beautiful.  I have seen some gorgeous work on other blogs lately using graphics in various ways and I love what they are doing!!!  I hope you find these useful in your craft and art work.  If you use these please send a picture.  I would love to see it and post it for all to see.  Thanks to those of you who have become followers.  You are the reason I do this, I feel it is a shame to keep such glorious old images under wraps.  They should be shared freely with all.

Adorable Angel Images

These really are two of the most adorable angel images I have seen.  They all are beautiful to me and I hope you will like them as well.  Today I made a collaged box with images of various angels on the lid and it was so pretty!  I think I must be prejudiced though because I think anything with angels is beautiful.  There is simply something appealing that draws me to it!!!

Sweet Vintage Angels

Angels are all around us if we quiet our minds, be peaceful, be serene and tranquil ... we don't even have to look and search for them ... they are just there.  We do not always see them but we can feel their presence.
I know you will love these sweet angel images every bit as much as I do.  They are so beautiful in a collage on the lid of a dainty little box, with the box bottom painted in a soft pastel color.  Enhance the lid with small pastel buttons, "jewels" or tiny beads, bits of old lace or a lovely little bow hot glued in place.  Place paper shreds or tissue paper in the box before placing your treasure inside.  It makes a wonderful gift.
I recently made such a little box for my grand daughter with only an old black and white photo of her parents that I had put into a small collage on a card.  It was such a personal little gift for her and she loves and cherishes it.  I am sure she will keep it forever and am so glad I could give her a gift she will cherish..  Don't forget to add your name and the date on the bottom of the box or, as I did, on the back of the picture inside.  You could even write it on the box bottom inside.  Anyway, I hope you will have fun with your angels.

Free Digital Images

These are two images I made playing in my digital image program. It is such fun for me and I just might have found a new hobby!!  Can you imagine, at my age?! I have always loved to manipulate photos of my family to use in my scrapbooks, but I have done these two to give as freebies on this site and hope you will find them useful in your art. They are free to use as you please. I only ask for a link back to my site or credit for them. I hope you like them and have as much fun using them as I did in making them.

Mesmerizing Angel Images

I don't believe I know or have ever known anyone who is not mesmerized by angels.  The sweet little cherubs bring us a sense of well being and calmness.  Countless images of angels have graced walls, lurked in the minds of many and brought happiness to all who had the pleasure to look upon them.
These are three such images.  They are yours, free to use as you please. I hope you like them.  They are gorgeous when sepia toned, placed on an old fashioned paper along with an inspirational quote. I have often placed a page from an old songbook on the page as well.  They are then matted with black, put into a pretty frame and become a beloved gift to place in a prominent place on a loved one's wall or display in a holder on a night stand or favorite table.  There are many, many ways the lovely little angels can be incorporated into a gift or craft.
