These are three of the cutest little images. They are too sweet! I love the old fashioned clothing and the look in the eyes of the children in the old photos. They speak to us of another time and another place, a time when life seemed to be led at a slower and simpler pace.

Gorges Smythe February 21, 2011 at 7:26 PM: Believe it or not, that's probably a BOY with the goat. (The hair looks right.) If so, it was probably taken before 1930, as dressing both boys and girls in dresses and smocks had pretty much died out by then. I think there's only one picture of my dad in one, which was taken when he was about a year old in 1926.

Welcome To My Blog!

As a child, I sat with my mother many times on our back porch, where the sun seemed to always shine from one corner or another. We sifted through tons of ephemera, old labels, antique photos and sorted them according to category. We laughed, drank iced tea and loved our "old things". My mom is my angel now and it is to her this blog is dedicated. She was, and is, an angel ... so this is our angel blog.

Everything here is yours, free to download and do with as you please. They may be downloaded to your computer simply by clicking on the image to open it in a new window and then right click on the new image to "save as" to your computer. I recommend making a new folder in your My Pictures folder to save them in.

I believe everything on this site to be copyright free, in the public domain. If you are aware that an image I post is not, please let me know so I may remove it or give proper credit.
