Old Child's Book Page

This is a page taken from an old children's book.  I do not even know the name of the book, but times have sure changed!  This is such a treasure and one we should see that is not lost to our children of future generations.  We owe it to them.  I hope you enjoy it.

A Child's Best Friend Was Often a Book

I love these old childrens' books.  I remember as child my brothers and I had stacks of books that my mother read to us so many times the pages became worn and dog eared.  How we loved our books and the wonderful pictures and stories inside.  I often went to sleep holding a favorite book in my arms.  Mother Goose was one of my very favorite of all, so I especially like this image and hope you do as well.  I do think you will find a place for these in your art.
